Members of the Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department, along with numerous members of the Chicago Police Department were privileged to partake in the 2008 Summer blockbuster THE DARK KNIGHT.  The band can be seen during a police memorial scene playing the the tune BALMORAL written by Sir Robert Bruce.  This is a traditional funeral tune played to honor fallen Chicago Police officers and was also featured in the film Backdraft.
